Our Story
People deserve healthier work environments, meaningful choices, and a job search that does not feel like a burden. That is the problem we are here to solve.
Through school and university, we worked hard, earned our degrees, and graduated believing effort and credentials were enough.
Reality did not match expectations. The job market offered limited choice, minimal leverage, and little control — and what seemed temporary turned out to be the long-term reality for most.
As artificial intelligence advanced, it became clear these structural challenges were only deepening, not resolving.
We chose to build the first platform designed to address the unspoken realities of employment — giving people real options, real leverage, and control over their professional lives.

Ahmed's career spans IoT, open-source, and cloud engineering — from building energy-saving systems with Santander to leading cloud projects at Rackspace and Derwaza IT. His experience solving complex technology challenges inspired him to co-found OneApplicant.
